Coolest Black Swan Costume

I had an old red corset laying around from an old costume. I sprayed it black with aerosol fabric paint that I got at the craft store. Next bought a few different kinds of black feathers and sewed them to the top and hip of the corset.

Then I looked up a pattern for a professional grade tutu. Hand sewed it. I’m pretty crafty and handy so it was easy work. It took about six feet of tulle and 1 yard of 3 inch ribbon for the waist band. I painted my face with just plain old black and white eye liners. The tiara was just an old headband and jewelry wire wrapped around it!

I had a blast in this black swan costume, and even freaked a few people out. Have fun!
