Creative Homemade AriZona Iced Tea Costume

For his love of Arizona Iced Tea, my 12-year old son decides he’d like to be just that for Halloween! So, my creative wheels started turning and I dived into this project of make an Arizona iced tea costume: using a hula hoop and a shower curtain as my main parts!

I wasn’t sure how this would stay on, and didn’t want to do straps, but came up with another option. I stretched a gray t-shirt over the hula hoop, secured with chrome duck tape and some sewing. This this slide over his head and rest on his shoulders. For added height and stability, he will wear his sports shoulder pads.

I found matching fabric to that of the can, cut all the square and attached using spray adhesive. The letters and logo were hand-drawn and cut, including the nutrition facts and UPC symbol! He loved it.
