Simple but unique, Joey was actually the one to convince me that he should be Alfalfa for Halloween 2012. Ordering the bow tie and suspenders were definitely the easy part. Not to mention already having a good button-up shirt and khakis hanging in his closet. The real challenge was getting his “Alfalfa Sprout” hair to stand up. Manic Panic’s Raven Black Dye Hard Temporary Hair Color did just what it was supposed to: molded Joey’s baby-fine blond hair into Alfalfa’s black pointy wonder. Topped it off with some makeup freckles (or as Joey affectionately referred to them “prickles”). I thought this adorable Alfalfa child homemade Halloween costume turned out pretty cute.
