Striking Homemade Ninja Costume

I always want to stand out in a crowd and wear something that no other person has, which is why I always make my own clothes and costumes. I designed and created my own Ninja costume by myself from scratch. I draped the patterns on a dress form and used a stretch satin for the entire costume. The dress has a throwing star screen print on the lower right side of the dress and “ninja slashing” on the lower left side of the dress.

There are silver contrasted bias binding and band details on all of the costume pieces. The back of the dress has a unique weaving and crisscross design. The bolero is a separate piece with a mandarin collar and back throwing star detail and snap closure. I also made the matching glovelettes and accessorized the costume with a black head band and thigh high boots. I am in love with the finished product, I wish every day was Halloween!
