Cool and Simple Day of the Dead Skeleton Costume

Items needed for this simple day of the dead skeleton costume:

• (1) Black long sleeve shirt
• (1) Pair of Black Leggings
• (1) Bottle of White Acrylic Paint
• (1) Bottle of Glow-in-the-Dark Paint
• (1) Makeup (I only used white Halloween make-up, the rest of the make-up was cosmetic make-up)

First, locate some black leggings and a long sleeve shirt. I had these items at home, but they can be purchased cheap at Walmart. Use the white paint to paint all of the bones on both the back and front of the shirt and leggings. Once they have dried, outline the bones in glow-in-the-dark paint. This gives it a cool effect in the dark.

For the make, cover the face in white Halloween make-up. I also patted a powder over the white make-up to lock it in and not look too shiny. Do designs around the eyes and mouth. I used black liquid eyeliner for the teeth and eyeliner and liquid eye shadow for the eye sockets. Add designs on the forehand, cheeks and chin. These were also done in eyeliner.

Add embellishments to the hair. I used a large fake flower and hot-glued it to a hair bow.
